It's easy for you to customise your Kahootz User Dashboard and personalise it to your needs. Dashboards are a fantastic feature that make it easy for you to see useful information from across your workspaces, or even feeds from external web sites, in one place.  They can help you get the most out of your time using Kahootz and to add a touch of personality to how you use it.

What do I need to know about my User Dashboard?

Your User Dashboard is made up of one or more dashboard items where you can control both the layout and the content. It’s the one function that every Kahootz user can access and modify. You can access it from the "My Dashboard" link at the top of all pages in Kahootz.

What can I use My Dashboard for?

  • Locked documents: Have a list of all the locked items you’re working on (handy if you're out of the office for a few days and need to make sure you've unlocked a document so someone else can review it).
  • RSS feeds: Add an external RSS feeds (such as the BBC news feed or a news site specific to your industry) and keep up to date of what’s going on in the news.
  • My tasks: Use “My Tasks”  to keep track of what you have to do across all workspaces; make sure you don't miss important deadlines. An easy, yet effective way to keep a close eye on what needs to be done.
  • What's new: Keep up-to-date on "What's new" on a per workspace basis or all of your workspaces. You may find it convenient to see all new updates to documents, but not for discussion forums, or you might just want to see new comments on documents.
